Dr. Stanley is a high‐performing, strategic‐thinking IT leader with more than 15 years of experience leading project teams. He is highly skilled at relationship-building with clients and across organizations and groups; he has exceptional writing, presenting, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

Dr. Stanley began his career as an Operations Specialist in the US Navy aboard the USS San Antonio. He transitioned to the private sector to Newport News Shipbuilding in 2012, where he has taken on several roles, from systems administration to project management. His primary function at NNS  was to Architect, Design, implement, and maintain IT systems that align with the organization's vision of an integrated digital shipyard through digital transformation. Dr. Stanley Specializes in Project Management, Knowledge Management, and Disaster Recovery. Dr. Stanley currently serves as the Chief Information Officer for The Gulf Coast Center, the Mental Health Authority for several counties in the Greater Houston Area. He leads teams to achieve the objectives, key results, and initiatives created by organizational units and that are data inspired.  

 

Dr. Stanley received his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems  and Technology from Old Dominion University in 2013 and his Master of Science in Engineering Management  from

The George Washington University in 2016, and a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Liberty University. Additionally, Dr. Stanley received a graduate certificate in Public  Procurement and Contract Management (2016), Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification in 2015, and his Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) Certification in 2019.
